Posted by 07heaven on November 22, 2016

Whether you dance around the ice like Torvill and Dean or scramble around like Bambi, the capital’s outdoor ice rinks are centred in and around some of the most magical locations you’ll see all season. With the Christmas lights and trees all adding to the backdrop of London’s stunning institutions, a trip to one of the ice rinks is a must-do for the views alone. So here’s a round up of some of the best rinks to twirl around in London this year.

Canary Wharf Ice Rink

Canary Wharf offers a beautiful, picturesque backdrop from the business districts soaring towers, and with a few exciting extras, the ice rink keeps up to its extravagant surroundings. This year’s rink is ‘Luminosity’ themed, with an iced path that allows skaters to dash off from the main rink and glide below fair light-laden trees. There is also a pop-up bar and restaurant that serves everything you could need.
